Every weekend we hold our Sundowner tent camping at different campsites along the river Nile and on some special weekends like this, we get a big festival in our town Jinja.
What is a festival without outdoor tent camping?
The Sunny Outdoors Nyege Nyege Sundowner camping will be at Kangulumira , 4Km from the festival grounds. It comes on a special weekend for Jinja town, campers and festival lovers attending the Nyege Nyege festival weekend being held at Kalagala falls.
The Nyege Nyege festival is the world's biggest underground essential electronic music festival bringing artists from all over the world and has been hosted in our home town Jinja since it's inception.
This sundowner camping weekend will be special as we set up at Kangulumira which is next door to the festival grounds giving any festival goer an option for an out of festival ground Sunny outdoors camping experience.
The Experience
We shall set up at Kangulumira at a secure gated campsite with clean toilets and showers.
There will be a number of activities one can engage in like flat water tubing on the river Nile, swimming, boat rides and speed boat rides, kayaking and stand up paddling, cycling tour of the area.
The campsite will bring together all outdoor and festival people from all over the world who love tent camping to hang together and tell stories, share experiences, share meals and drinks at the ever blazing camp fire.
The camp ground is green and expansive with trees and numerous species of birds hovering around providing a peaceful atmosphere and the camping facilities are pristine including the washrooms and showers.
The amenities include, a fire pit, self catering area and there is secure car parking available with safe storage for personal items.
What to note:
You have to get yourself to the campsite. Reach out for group or private transportation arrangements.

A Tent(2/3 sleeper with a rain cover/flysheet) and mat 2 inch foam) only are set up, you need to carry covers or sleeping bag. You can reach out to hire a sleeping bag.
you can also come with your own tent and set up camp.
There will safe storage space for all valuables and can be accessed anytime.
