USAGE TEMPERATURE:
Quechua display the "comfort temperatures" on all our sleeping bags, tested by an independent laboratory (AITEX) in compliance with European standard EN 13537 of 11/04/2002.
The "comfort temperature" is the lower comfort limit at which a user in a relaxed position maintains thermal balance and is neither too cold nor too warm (determined under normal conditions of use).
Choose your sleeping bag accordingly!

HOWEVER, THIS IS WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT TEMPERATURES:

A sleeping bag does not produce heat but retains the heat produced by the body.
These temperatures therefore depend on the person's resistance to cold (size, fatigue, etc.), equipment (mattress with insulation, etc.), clothing (naked, underwear, etc.) and weather conditions (humidity, wind, etc.).
If you are tired and cold and you get into a cold, damp sleeping bag, you'll probably feel cold, irrespective of the qualities of your bag!

SPECIFICS FOR KIDS:

Choose a sleeping bag that’s appropriate for your child's size.
The more air there is to heat, the more energy the body will use to keep warm and the greater the risk of getting cold during the night.
Similarly, your child will lose most heat through their head.
In cold weather, you can put a hat on them.

WASHING YOUR SLEEPING BAG

We recommend you use a washing machine with a minimum 7 kg capacity and close the zips on your sleeping bag.
